For some relatively simple products with simple structures, it’s good to quote only the product photos.

Please send us the pictures of all the dimensions and tell us the weight, that would be good. If the part is structurally complicated, and you don’t have the CAD design drawing, you could send the part to us by express, so that we give you the quote with the sample in hand.

BFY Mold does not have a minimum order policy. Our sales and engineers will help recommend the right injection mold and molding solution for you.

Yes, we provide after-sales service. After the mold is exported, our sales engineers will continue to follow up the molding situation. At this stage, if the mold breaks down, our engineers will be involved in the evaluation process and help to solve the problem.

Yes, we have 90T, 160T, 250T, 320T, 390T, 400T, 450T, 650T, 800T injection machine for mould test and production.

These are how we guarantee:

1. Our customers could sign the NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) with BFY Mold to ensure that we will not plagiarize the design.
2. We are an OEM injection mold manufacturer, and we do not have any channels and genes to sell such products, that’s one of the reasons we don’t plagiarize or copy the part design.
3. For most projects, injection molded items are only parts of the product, which effectively prevents the whole product from being duplicated by manufacturing in one supplier.

Yes, we can. Usually, we provide two manufacturing methods for product prototypes: 3D printing and CNC machining. The lead time is 2 to 7 days. If you have the budget, we have another workable process: prototype tooling or rapid mold.

Basically, every project is special. Quotations are based on part construction and customer requirements. In general, the more comprehensive the information provided by the customer, the more accurate the quote will be.

The following are some of the main aspects that determine the cost of a mold: product structure, plastic material, surface treatment, production quantities, mold standards (HASCO, DME, MISUMI, LKM) and accessories, and whether or not the mold is for export.

In short, our sales and engineers will develop the most suitable mold solution for your project, based on your requirements and budget, and on the principle of manufacturability.

Depending on the complexity of the product, it usually takes 4 to 6 weeks to manufacture a set of molds. Delivery times will be listed on the quotation for reference before the order is started.

1. We will evaluate your product design and specific requirements, provide you with a detailed quotation solution, and advise you on the optimization of suitable and plasticizable product design.
2. When the order is confirmed, our engineers will provide you with a detailed DFM report, which includes the basic solution for the mold and plastic parts.
3. During the mold design and manufacturing stage, your project engineers at BFY Mold will follow up the whole process and provide you with weekly mold progress reports.
4. After the mold is completed, the mold will be tried and sampled first, internal audit and measurement will be done, and the sample will be handed over to the customer for evaluation.
5. If the sample is not qualified, our team will find out the reason and solution, and make improvement, then make a second sample for customer to check until they work. Finally, the mold is packed for shipping or production injection molding.

Generally, in the injection molding industry, the grades of mold life are:100,000, 300,000, 500,000, and 1,000,000 shots.

Mold life is related to the mold steel, which is selected based on the plastic material, part finish, and potential production quantities. Like other products in other industries, injection molds have a theoretical life and an actual life. The theoretical life is listed on the quotation from the beginning.

How do we ensure mold life?
When the molds are placed at BFY Mold for production injection molding, we are responsible for maintaining them to ensure that the service life is close to the theoretical life. If the mold is exported to the customer’s country or region, under proper use, the mold life can be close to the theoretical life, but this is just like the theoretical and actual life of a car which is often difficult to achieve the exact same number.

If a mold fails within a reasonable lifetime, our engineers will assess solutions for replacement parts or mold repair and send it back to the BFY Mold workshop or to the local mold maker for assistance.

Yes, we will provide short term or small batch injection molds and molding, quick molds and household molds are the right choice.

Currently, we only help our customers to do simple assembly. Screen printing, painting and plating should be done at our partners.
